1Who we are
ScreenMake is run by PRO CODE SERVICES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15485859), with its registered office at 61 Bridge Street, Kington, England, HR5 3DJ (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@screenmake.com.
By creating an account or using ScreenMake you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you agree on its behalf and confirm you’re allowed to.
2What ScreenMake is
ScreenMake is a studio for designing App Store and Google Play screenshots: a canvas with device mockups, text, elements and backgrounds, AI tools that design and edit with you, translation into other languages, export, and publishing to App Store Connect.
ScreenMake is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple or Google. App Store, App Store Connect, iPhone and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC.
3Your account
- You must be at least 16 and give a real email address.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- One person per account. Sharing a paid account between several people isn’t allowed.
4Free use and paid plans
You can create an account and design for free. Exports from a free account carry a ScreenMake watermark. A paid plan is what lets you ship your work:
- exporting screenshots without the watermark;
- publishing to App Store Connect;
- connecting your own AI assistant to your projects.
- ScreenMake Pro: $19 a month or $204 a year, with 160 AI credits every month.
- ScreenMake Studio: $69 a month or $708 a year, with 600 AI credits every month.
Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax, which is added at checkout where it applies. We may change prices; a change applies from your next renewal, and we’ll tell you beforehand.
5AI credits
- AI tools spend credits. Everything else in the studio is unlimited.
- A credit is taken only when the AI tool succeeds; if it fails, the credit comes back.
- Plan credits arrive every month and unused ones carry over for one more month, up to two months’ worth.
- Credit packs (50, 150 or 400 credits) don’t expire while your account is open, and are spent after your plan credits.
- Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred, and aren’t refunded except as our refund policy says.
6Payment, cancelling and refunds
Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the seller of record: it takes the payment, works out and collects any tax, and its name may appear on your statement. Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment itself.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Your plan then stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for and doesn’t renew.
Refunds are covered by our Refunds and cancellation policy at screenmake.com/refunds, which forms part of these terms.
7Your content
Your app screenshots, images, text and designs stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run ScreenMake for you, including sending them to the AI and other providers that carry out the tools you use.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, and that it doesn’t break the law or anyone else’s rights.
We don’t use your content to train AI models, and we ask the same of the providers we use.
8AI tools and what they make
- As between you and us, what the AI tools make for you is yours to use, including commercially.
- AI output can be wrong, can resemble other people’s work, and the same request can give similar results to someone else. Check it before you publish it.
- Some countries give limited or no copyright protection to AI-generated material. We can’t promise that what the tools make is protectable or free of third-party claims.
- AI-drawn versions of your app’s screens (for example for iPad) are aids. Your store listing must show your app as it really is, and that remains your responsibility.
9Our library
ScreenMake includes mockups, elements, icons, fonts, backgrounds and stock images. You may use them inside the screenshots and marketing images you make with ScreenMake, including commercially. You may not extract them to resell, redistribute or offer them as a library, template pack or competing product.
ScreenMake itself (its software, design and brand) belongs to us and our licensors.
10Publishing to the App Store
- If you connect App Store Connect, you give us an API key for your account. We store it encrypted and use it only to do what you ask: read your apps and upload screenshots and text. You can remove it at any time.
- You’re responsible for your Apple and Google developer accounts and for following their rules. Whether a store accepts your listing is their decision, not ours.
- Check what you’re about to publish. We’re not responsible for a listing that goes live with content you didn’t review.
11Fair use
Please don’t:
- use ScreenMake for anything unlawful, deceptive or infringing, or to make sexual content involving minors, content that harasses people, or screenshots that misrepresent what an app does;
- remove or hide the watermark on free exports, or get around the plan or credit limits by any other route;
- share, resell or sublicense your account or access;
- scrape, copy or reverse engineer ScreenMake or its library, or use automation to pull assets out in bulk;
- attack, overload or probe the service, or interfere with other people’s use of it.
We may suspend or close an account that does these things. Where it’s reasonable we’ll warn you first.
12Changes and availability
We’re always improving ScreenMake, so features, tools and credit costs can change. We aim to keep it running smoothly but can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. AI tools depend on outside providers and may be slow or unavailable at times.
Keep your own copies of anything important, such as your exported screenshots.
13Ending
- You can stop using ScreenMake at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@screenmake.com.
- We may close an account that breaks these terms, or with reasonable notice if we stop offering the service. If we close a paid account that hasn’t broken the terms, we’ll refund the unused part of the current period.
- When an account is closed, its projects and unused credits are removed.
14Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the legal rights you have under consumer law.
Beyond that: ScreenMake is provided as it is. We’re not liable for lost profits, revenue, business or data, for a store rejecting or removing a listing, or for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen. Our total liability to you for anything connected with ScreenMake is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Carrying on using ScreenMake after that means you accept the new terms.
16Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts decide any dispute. If you’re a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country and may bring a claim in your local courts.
